NextUp Alert App - Calendar Reminders

Let the NextUp App, take care of your reminders effortlessly. You set how you want to be reminded, and for what. You will be alerted at the right time, allowing you to work without the need to watch the clock.

NextUp Alert allows you to visually see the time remaining at a glance on the taskbar. When it's time, you can join calls conveniently right from the taskbar.

The NextUp App is a simple calendar reminder app, setup reminders once, then forget it. Choose your reminder times—one or many—and pick which calendars matter most. Filter out the noisy meetings, and fine-tune anytime.

NextUp runs quietly in the background. The taskbar icon reminder keeps you on schedule:

• Green → plenty of time

• Yellow → just minutes away

• Red → seconds left

Get alerts your way: Audio reminders, popup reminders, or both. Set multiple warnings— 4 minutes, 40 seconds, and a final call 10 seconds before the meeting. Popups show a live countdown and let you join with a single click. Or Join the call right from the taskbar.

The older version is still available on the Microsoft Store, renamed to NextUp Alert Lite.

The newer NextUp App, is now known as NextUp Alert - launched July 2026. The newer app has some in-app purchase options which is not part of the base model.

Some new features:

• A new modern look, with light and dark themes

• NextUp now provides optional AI features, providing AI summaries of your day

• Customise your daily summary, by providing your own prompt

• AI Natural Voice reminders, you are able to choose your favourite voices from several cloned voices 

• System Tray pop-out dialog,  with a timeline, and the option to join calls from the pop-out

• Smarter notifications, with a rules  builder.  For example get notified when events get cancelled or moved
